Gabriel Medina Pinto Ferreira, born on December 22, 1993, is a Brazilian professional surfer. He is widely regarded as one of the most successful surfers of this generation, having won three WSL World Championships (2014, 2018, and 2021).

Medina is known for his aggressive and powerful surfing style. He has a reputation for surfing some of the world's most challenging breaks, such as Pipeline in Hawaii and Teahupoo in Tahiti.
